Great Hockey Source

I'm a new listener and to be honest i'm hooked after one episode. What attracted me to this hockey podcast is they talk about my beloved Boston Bruins but also take the time to cover other news topics from around the NHL. Wayne and Steve are very knowledgeable and highly recommend you also jump on board this weekly show. Keep up the amazing work!!!

stale nuts

There's nothing wrong with being a hockey fan and a podcaster, but these guys are a lesson in the need to temper the former to focus on the latter. And before you think I just don't like their teams, I don't even remember what their teams are -- it's their hockey passion in general that gets in their way. I really tried. I came back for several episodes, but you can only take so many "that Crosby is some kind of player" comments. I waited and waiting for actual insights and it just never happened. If you're talking hockey with your buddies, it can be like this, but that's a different situation. A podcast should deliver some level of analysis and insight that everybody else hasn't already said or that isn't already common knowledge. Empty enthusiasm takes you only so far.
