Goalie Training, Performance Philosophy, and Continuing Education with Devan McConnell
In this episode, David Rosales and Mike Potenza are joined by Devan McConnell, the High Performance Director of the Arizona Coyotes.
Devan opens the discussion by expanding on his article where he outlined his warm-up protocol for goalies, touching on how he thinks about goalie training more broadly.
Then, they discuss how Devan's overall coaching philosophy and how it evolved, from his early time as a strength coach up to the NHL, which he'll be discussing further at the International Hockey Performance Summit this June.
Finally, Devan shares how he continues to learn and improve, in particular, why he reads and learns from sources outside strength and conditioning.

Great Content for Hockey Training
Brian is knowledgeable and experienced. He and his guests bring a lot of thought to the topic discussed on each podcast.
Website still active?
Enjoying the podcasts, but is the website still active? Each registration attempt/with payment, will not go through and there are no replies to several email/contact us inquiries. Nor, any replies to FB Messenger inquiries. Great stuff on the site most recently pulled up, but again, is the Website itself no longer active? (Also noted the last FB posting was back in 2018). Thank you.
GOAL!!!!!!!!!!
Brian has done a great job of elevating the podcast. He discusses all things Hockey performance, along with great info that can be applied to many sports. Thanks for taking the time to provide such great info.
