Wow!! I am so freakin proud of Vanessa!!👏🏽 And that’s what we do, just get up and keep on going. You are your children’s lifeline. As strong Mothers, you don’t have a choice. You keep on moving forward. And if you are blessed, you have a strong Village to have your back. What Vanessa does is HARD! What she’s been through was tough. Pro Choice Episode
It is voting day 2022 and I am in Michigan. We have a proposal on the ballot for abortion. I and a middle-class white male and typically vote pro-life, but really wanted a different perspective. Your pro choice episode was fantastic! It was very riveting. I appreciate your vulnerability and am so sorry you had to go through the rape and also the difficult decision with what to do afterwards with the pregnancy. I wrestle with whether or not my voice should be heard as male. I have 4 children of my own. I did vote today. It was NOT easy! I’m frustrated with the lack of empathy on both sides of the abortion issue and so appreciate that you were so considerate of opposing arguments. That made it much easier to hear what you had to say. Thank you.
