A true delight

I was on the lookout for some night listening audio when I searched New Yorker podcasts in the iTunes store. I had the good fortune to find these jovial fellows who are supposed to be describing New Yorker cartoons but instead sway off track, crack jokes and giggle like school girls over life’s trivialities. Sometimes they get so carried away it’s hard to know where the fun stops and the cartoons begin. They sound like kids just messing around, for their own amusement! A true delight. Their celebration of the more fundamental pleasures- good friends, warm banter- made me question whether the trappings of adulthood aren’t really just a big joke on us. I’m amazed at how much trouble they took to describe such a simple 1 panel cartoon! Enough with audiobooks. From now on I’ll waste my awake time on this podcast.

Hilarious

Witty, insightful, delightful. This podcast is the only funny thing about New Yorker cartoons.
