When Numbers are Scarce (Nov 14th episode)

I just discovered this podcast and loved the Nov 14th episode. The interchange between Nate and Andrew was good and Ron Brash from Verve was clearly in his element. Perhaps he avoided this for liability reasons, but it would have been nice for Ron to take one abbreviated risk "scenario" from start to finish in order to hammer home his point. In amplification of Nate/Andrew's Mimikatz discussion, the reason Ronlikely brought that up is that it featured in both the Trisis and Crash Override attacks- where patient attackers got into the IT network and then moved deliberately over time to the OT side in order to generate effects. Mimikatz is a post-exploitation hacktool written by a French developer/pentester 7 years ago that still features prominently in many attacks because, frankly, it works.

Useful Information & Excellent Presentation

I’ve been listening to this podcast for many months now and I look forward to every episode.

The interviews are always educational and the two hosts (Nate Nelson & Andrew Ginter) have great exchanges that really serve to explain each topic. They have put together a truly unique approach to interviewing I haven’t seen anywhere else.

There are many cyber security podcasts on the market today and I believe this one is a great pick. If you are in anyway interested in cyber security then it is well worth your time to listen to this podcast.
