The Lost Art of Listening - Ep. 27

The Lost Art of Listening - Ep. 27

With everything that's going on, the division of our country is becoming wider and wider, with none of the leaders in office truly wanting to solve the problem. Instead, they point fingers at one another and barely hold themselves accountable for what they contributed. This is even trickling down to everyday people, since this is all they're seeing when they watch the news. Can this be fixed? I dive into that on this episode.

The Slow Suppression of Free Speech - Ep. 26

The Slow Suppression of Free Speech - Ep. 26

From Facebook and Twitter banning the President of the United States from sharing his thoughts and voice, to Apple and Google blocking people from accessing Parler (an app that promotes freedom of speech), to even Yahoo! disabling comments to promote a "safe space", what will be the next step in increasing the wide net of clamping down on independent thought? Is our democracy turning into a totalitarian state? Or is this a necessary means to an end to get those who are stoking the flames of evil to stop? We dig into this today.

The Attack on Capitol Hill - Ep. 25

The Attack on Capitol Hill - Ep. 25

This past week, pro-Trump supporters moved in on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. and stormed inside - putting many people across America at unease. Because of his encouragement to let the politicians know that they aren't ok with him losing the election, this prompted Facebook and Twitter to ban President Trump forever from their platform.

Is this the right call, or is there something else we should be concerned about moving forward? Also, were these protestors or were they violent thugs who can't accept defeat in the form of a election? Returning back to the show, are my special guests:  Founder and President of Dauntless Tactical Training Centers of America, Jonathan W. Cross II, as well as teacher and activist, Frank W. Johnson. We dive into these topics with them here.

Feel free to follow Jonathan W. Cross II on Facebook (Dauntless Tactical Training, Inc.), on Instagram: @dauntlesstactical, or at their official website: https://dauntlesstactical.com/. You can also follow Frank W. Johnson on Facebook or on Instagram (@fwjjr).

Is Hollywood Sidestepping Around Black Culture? - Ep. 23

Is Hollywood Sidestepping Around Black Culture? - Ep. 23

Disney and Pixar's animated film "Soul" has recently come out, but with a slight criticism that seems to be ignored by mainstream media. People are recognizing a seemingly familiar trope that "Soul", along with other  movies like "The Princess and the Frog", and "Spies in Disguise" are misleading by having a black animated lead character, but then covering  up their blackness and their culture by having them transform  into...something else.

We dive into it with special guests Tariq Khaaliq, Amina Jordan-Mendez, and Sheleia McHaney on today's "The Black Barbershop" panel segment.

The Slippery Slope Towards Mandatory Vaccination: Part 2 - Ep. 22

The Slippery Slope Towards Mandatory Vaccination: Part 2 - Ep. 22

As time presses on towards a vaccine for the COVID-19 virus being discussed on how to be given out to Americans, I was dealt with another blow of what's to potentially come.

I was told that I couldn't physically come back in to one of my jobs until I took a test showing hard proof that I was 'Negative'. If this is potentially what's to come, then what's to stop them from saying I, or any other worker, can't come in unless they've been vaccinated? Where else will this happen throughout America? I dig into these questions and more in this episode.

Balanced perspective

This was not biased. Just informative and made me think. Didn’t feel forced or like he was trying to convince.
