Episode 15: No goest, No Problem Pt 2
So ya boy was out of town all last week, and when I got back, I had no desire to coordinate with a guest. So as promised, I came back with another episode with no guest. We talk, Cardi B's Record breaking rodeo performance, and Mariah Carey's concert in Houston the same night. We ventured off into the level of difficulty involved in being a legacy act still putting out new music that they want to tour, while the OG audience wants the classics. We talk my favorite places to perform, as well as my least favorite places. Of course we couldn't go without speaking on Jussie Smollett and Robert Sylvester the Molester Kelly. We dip into Robert Kraft getting his old rocks off at a local massage parlor, and the fights coming up. A WHOOOOLE bunch of other stuff. Buckle up... its gonna be a long episode.

Episode 14: Checking in with my friend AJ Costa
My friends are the reason I started this podcast. I have interesting friends who are interesting for various reasons. Either because of the great things they do that are public, or the way they live, and how they can inspire thought and action in others. Today I sit with my friend, AJ Costa. This guy has been instrumental in my life in a lot of ways, but his story is even more layered. This is a conversation we'd have off of the mic, anyway, so it was just natural. We talk about his childhood, dealing with the reality of an incarcerated father, how it effected him, and what their relationship is today. We take a dive into what it was like learning that his mother was a member of the LGBTQ community, and how growing up with 2 mothers shaped his mind (spoiler alert: its not as much a negative dynamic as every ignorant human would have you believe). We talk a bit about his job as a cigar salesman for Ventura Cigars, the culture of cigars, and some of its misconceptions. We generally just check in with each other about how things are going, where we are in life, and how we continue to move forward. This is one of the people I look to, to keep me leveled. We all could use and AJ in our lives.

Episode 13: Balance With Crystal Cole
This week's episode was all about BALANCE. I was joined by the beautiful and talented Crystal Cole. Crystal is a Teacher and GroupX Cycling instructor who lit up the room with her big personality, and thoughts on so many different things. We begin with her blog centered around Love, Hair, Traveling, and Fitness. (check out realcoleworld.com). We discuss the things she's experienced on past dates, past relationships, and why she chooses to blog about these experiences. She gets personal as she speaks about her time in an abusive relationship and what the last straw was for her. We then talk about the thing that saved her life, which was FITNESS. Her insight, and honesty is truly something to behold on this episode. She even decided to grill ME a bit. Women from all over can relate to her story, I'v
