Today Jan is joined by AnnaKate Marsh, a Child Life Specialist and mental health councilor, who is here to talk about different methods of how to communicate about trauma with children, as well as some of the neuro-science that is the bedrock to these methods as with many other therapeutic practices. AnnaKate is also a survivor of child sexual abuse by a peer and the way that her parents and the professionals surrounding her coming forward about her abuse was the loadstone to her choosing her career path.

Courageous
Jan Broberg and her family are such inpressive people, especially considering all they have been through and how they use those experiences to help others. The Jan Broberg Show provides many people who have been through this type of trauma with education and suggestions for healing. I cannot recommend it enough! Jan is courageous and admirable, as are the guests appearing on the podcast. If you or anyone you know has suffered this type of trauma or just want to educate yourselves on prevention and what these struggles are like, this will be a fantastic podcast to listen to!
