Fun, except for one thing...

All the talk about The Bachelorette really brings it down. That’s always about 15 minutes I can skip.

Dave Chapelle

His performance wasn't rightwing, it was challenging.

And funny because to be a successful comic is to be a story teller, and he did great.

I use this reference a lot, though I forget the specific part, in the late 80's Whoopy goldberg had a one woman show that was PROFOUND, she created so many characters, and so many stories filled with jokes, and her final punchline was something that made you laugh and think.

THAT is the ART of Comedy.

As for being surprised by Daves bit. . . I firsty saw Dave on Def Comedy Jam in the early 90's and his entire bit was him sitting behind some african apparent bongo's wearing african garb and repeating "BLACK PEOPLE DO THIS!!!!!! WHITE PEOPLE DO THAT!""

Dave was in tune with the nonsense of culture way before now.

TJAMS...that’s a name I haven’t heard for a long, long time...

Jim Geraghty is best known as a political analyst and election watcher at National Review. Mickey White, his sidekick, is the delightful, funny “color commentator” on this non-political, lighthearted and enjoyable take on pop culture and the passing scene. I really hope this gets back to being a regular broadcast. I have missed it!
