On The Keep Up Podcast, two brothers confront their backlogs and share what entertainment skeletons they’ve found in their closets; some things new, some things old, some things quite awful.

#283: TKU vs. Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, Atom Eve, Time Bandits, The Last Action Heroes, and More!
This week! Scott Pilgrim Takes Off gives us a story that we have *not* already seen in 3 different mediums, Time Bandits is a movie about time-traveling dwarves who steal things and is somehow *still* more wacky and whimsical than you’d expect, and Nick de Semlyen’s “The Last Action Heroes” may be the best book about the golden age of actions movies and their stars that will ever be written!
We also discuss Invincible, Atom Eve, Tim Burton’s Batman, and more!

#282: TKU vs. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, Immaculate, The Crow (Comic), and More!
This week! We have no idea how to say the title, but Tim saw the latest installment of the ever-growing Godzilla & Kong monsterverse! Immaculate might be worth seeing and has a unique approach to promotional ads, and the 2011 hardcover special edition of James O’Barr’s “The Crow” offers some heartbreaking insight to the story behind the cult classic! 🐦⬛
We also discuss our YouTube video being removed for “hate speech”, reusable gift cards, a listener review, and more!
00:13:12 — REFLECTIONS! Brett's lie about annuals, YouTube and "hate speech", a review, and a voicemail
00:32:10 — MOVIES! Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, Immaculate
00:55:40 — BOOKS & COMICS! The Crow

#281: TKU vs. X-Men '97, Madame Web, Alan Wake 2, Marvel's Alien, and More!
This week! X-Men ’97 picks up right where the 90s animated classic left off — only somehow better — Madame Web *just* might be as bad as you’ve heard it is, Alan Wake 2 showcases Remedy Entertainment’s *continued* streak of incredibly innovative games, and the numbering system for Marvel’s ongoing Alien comic is a collector’s nightmare!
We also discuss The Blair Witch Project, Dead Space 3, and more!
00:13:50 — TV! X-Men ’97
00:29:35 — MOVIES! Madame Web, The Blair Witch Project

This week! Over 20 years after it first aired, we revisit Nickelodeon’s classic kids’ gameshow Legends of the Hidden Temple, and Tim decides his theme this week is 90s sports comedies, seeing both Matt Stone and Trey Parker’s Baseketball, and Adam Sandler’s The Waterboy for the *first* time!
We also discuss Akira Toriyama and Dragonball, Anger Management, Leo, Deathstalker, and more!
00:13:51 — REFLECTIONS! Legionnaire is not a sci-fi movie, troll comments

A Masterclass In Torture
Hey guys DeeJ here From Ineffably Sublime Podcast
So … Subjecting yourself to The Keep Up Podcast is akin to willingly entering a vortex of despair, only to realize it’s the most addictively delightful despair you’ve ever experienced. The hosts’ incessant wit and insight are so profoundly disturbing that you’ll find yourself questioning your own sanity for enjoying their every word. The topics they choose are so absurdly captivating, you’ll mourn the brain cells lost to laughter, not because you needed them, but because you didn’t realize how fun it is to be intellectually hijacked by such chaos. Every episode feels like an eternity that ends too soon, leaving you in a perplexing state of wanting more yet fearing the irreversible joy it brings. Their audio quality is a clear threat to societal norms, making every other sound in your life seem dull by comparison. Five stars, because I’m now trapped in the delightful agony of their making, and I blame them entirely for my newfound inability to enjoy silence.
YAYY THERE’S PIBBY!!
Just saying before you ask don’t mind my name… I forgot way I made it that so just call me Tabby. Pibby is one of my favorite characters (by the way, Learning with Pibby is a dark comedy) because…well I don’t really know, but other then Pibby I do just kind of skip through the videos to get to the stuff I like. My bestie got really into FnaF so she did kind of got me into it. I also love how hilarious your guy’s videos are, when I’m sad I just go to your podcast and laugh a little! I really hope read this review and I don’t know if you already did this but I couldn’t find it but can you guys do a Amazing Digital Circus one? Ok, this review is over now! You can stop reading now! Seriously like go touch grass or something. (If someone else sees this review and it hurt there feelings just know that I was just trying to be funny)
