The world of podcasting has been the poorer since Tim Ryan, a.k.a. King of Janitors, sunsetted his previous podcast. Luckily, he’s BACK, baby! He’s got a new format and a co-host, the genial Mike, and together they take us through, well, whatever they want to talk about, with a focus on popular culture, (retro tv and pop music are pet topics), and things that annoy them. Tim in particular is what I would call a “young curmudgeon”- he’s not shy in letting you know when you’re annoying him, and it’s one of the funniest things going when he starts off on a rant about the jerks that make his life miserable. I give this a big thumbs up- it’s low-pressure, laid back listening for my commute, peppered with incisive wit and sharp observations about this garbage fire we all share.
