The concept of free will has been discussed and challenged through the centuries. It’s at the heart of our religions, a central element in how our societies run, and it’s also critical in how our technology is (or isn’t) designed to ensure this idea is honored. But is it something we really have, or is it just an idea we hold onto, even if it is not true? We’re going deep.
