Great Guests

Sarah Silverman, Pete Holmes and Ron Funches are all fantastic guests. Really good podcast.

A must-listen comedy podcast

I’ll be blunt. I’m not a fan of The Daily Beast and this dude’s voice is maybe a tad on the sleepy side but these guests are top shelf and these interviews let them explore their real feelings and reactions instead of canned takes and sound bites. I truly look forward to this podcast every week and I’ve been introduced to a couple comedians I’d have never listened to otherwise. Hope this goes for years and years.

Meh

This podcast is tough to listen to with Matt’s “you know,” “like,” and other verbal ticks. The questions are weak and just come off as fawning over the guests. Sam Bee sounded so uncomfortable being asked about past bits she could barely remember. Very clumsy and awkward. Sorry, Matt. There are lots of great interviewers out there to learn from.
