Meaning-making with Zac Parsons.
This episode features music made mostly just by plugging in a Roland JX-3P Polyphonic Synth (circa 1983) into a Kustom '36 Coupe amp, but also William Basinski's Disintegration Loop D|P 2.1, as well as "Ann Buchanan Theme" by Dean & Britta. -

Customer Reviews
The Last Podcast is good at being a podcast
I’ve been following Zac for years, and have come to a place that I feel genuinely confident in saying he is precisely one of my dearest long distance acquaintances.
Zac is a true artist; he plays within many mediums, but I’ve never seen this amount of effort and true dedication. Though his video work, (my first love), is so wonderful and brings me such joy, this podcast feels like a whole new caliber of brilliance. Each installment is worth your time, and following Zac’s thought process and journey through an episode is always entertaining and rewarding. His unique perspective is so sharp and witty, and you can sense his real care and kindness about whatever it is he points his lens at.
Add this podcast to your roster, you won’t regret it.
Genuine to its core
If you’re looking for a podcast that cares deeply about media and portraying the human experience in all its varied forms then the Last Podcast is for you. There is an obvious amount of thought and insight that goes into each episode which is wonderful, but it’s not the only thing that keeps me coming back. Each podcast is filled with joy and a passion for creativity that is infectious, even at its saddest points. It’s a testament to life’s abundant creative jumping off points, and a reminder of the accessibility of this medium if we’re brave enough to open up and reach for it.
