Ep. 44 | Hebrew Literary Patterns of the Book of Mormon, with Rob Kay The Latter-day Disciples Podcast

    • Christianity

Meghan is joined by Rob Kay to discuss some of the underlying Hebraic roots of the Book of Mormon, as further evidence of its truth and divinity. Topics include:

- 4 Levels of Hebrew Meaning
- Signs in the Heavens, Jewish Mazzarath
- Book of Mormon Parallels to Biblical Events, i.e. Feasts
- How and Why to study Hebrew Language and Tradition

Rob Kay grew up as a military brat in Tennessee and Alabama. He was a convert at the age of 20, and as such opted not to serve a mission. He attended school at Vanderbilt and then the University of Alabama, and University of Utah to receive an MBA.  He later went back to school for a Master's Survey on Semitic Studies.

Rob has a rich background in Judaism having been raised in an observant Jewish home; and his mother, being of a Sephardic lineage, offered him the best of both worlds.  He is an avid researcher of the Hebrew Roots of the Book of Mormon. Besides having a degree in Mathematics and an MBA, he has spent many years studying the Hebrew language and culture. He was schooled in the Talmud and several esoteric disciplines of the Jewish people.

Rob is blessed with 3 grown children.
