Ep. 1 - Cynt Marshall and Tex Moton

Ep. 1 - Cynt Marshall and Tex Moton

In our very first episode of Lead with Love, Cynt Marshall, CEO of the Dallas Mavericks, and Tex Moton, Dallas muralist and graffiti artist who designed the Mavs "City Edition" style, discuss their commitment to leadership, diversity in the community, the Dallas can-do spirit and the Mavericks!

Cynt Marshall leads by example and challenges other leaders to listen and give a voice to those who are not heard enough. As the first Black female CEO in the NBA, she has been a dynamic force for inclusion and diversity within the Mavericks organization and during her 36-year career at AT&T.
Tex Moton has been a leader in Dallas’ art scene with his mural and graffiti art seen all over the city and beyond. In 2019, he created the Dallas Mavericks graffiti-inspired identity translated into uniforms and merchandise. One of his most recent projects is the Dallas Mavericks graffiti art at Dallas Love Field’s Parking Garage C, level 2, and in the terminal.

This was the most entertaining and clever idea from an airport! After seeing the cool graffiti art in Dallas Love Field’s parking garage, it made me want to drive there just to see it!

Slam dunk!

It’s not possible to listen to Dallas Mavericks CEO Cynt Marshall’s positive, go-to message about team leadership without wanting to play on her team. And that’s just what graffiti artist Tex Moton has done, branding the 2019 City Edition uniforms and branding Dallas Love Field’s Garage C and terminal. This is a great platform from community partner Love Field.
