Introduction to the Talk LD Podcast Series

Welcome to TalkLD, a series of podcasts which explore a variety of educationally relevant topics in the field of learning disabilities (LDs), produced by the LD@school team.

LD@school is the first bilingual resource of it’s kind, designed to provide Ontario educators with meaningful information, research and resources to help support students with LDs. LD@school was developed by the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario (LDAO), with support from the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Special Education Policy & Programs Branch.

The LD@school website features evidence-based, evidence-informed and practice-informed approaches, practices and strategies that can be put directly to use in the classroom. The website also includes other resources and professional development materials such as videos, podcasts, webinars, blogs, articles and student success studies. In the future, the site will also feature an online community where educators can share their thoughts and find answers to issues relating to teaching students with learning disabilities.

In addition to iTunes, the TalkLD Podcast Series will be posted on the LD@school website, which can be accessed at www.LDatSchool.ca.
