Captured me from the beginning. A few important scenes were hard to visualize from the sounds and context. That’s the only reason for not being a 5+++. Definitely give it a listen though!
Awesome but hard to know what’s happening sometimes
SPOLER HERE That was awesome! And the sound effects were terrific. I don’t know much about podcasting so maybe I’m missing something here, but often times I found VERY difficult to follow the sound effects and know what was happening. Particular examples would be ep. 7 after Lilith’s death, it sounds like Alice is attacked by something (maybe undead Bluejay?) but I honestly have zero idea what happened. Or when Alice has a run in with “water ghost Marjorie” in the last episode, Im very lost as to how she resolved that issue. Dragging and chopping (or digging?) sounds, but im still lost. It sounded cool, but Its Very frustrating to hear a lot of cool sound effects yet still have no idea what just happened. But overall I would def recommend this podcast to friends 🤘🏿🤘🏿
A nightmare that captivates till the end
This story was stressful and difficult to listen to at times. It took me a few days to get through it all simply because I had to stop listening for a while to bring my anxiety level back down to normal. That being said, it was a brilliantly told story and the acting and sound design were top notch. The ending was unexpected but also felt inevitable. I recommend giving this a listen, but be warned that it may stress you out and give you anxiety for a few days.
