The Leftovers | Series Finale Feedback Show

Leftovers Finale Feedback Podcast with Josh Wigler & Antonio Mazzaro from July 4th, 2017.

    Listen to the Podcast:

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more. Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Antonio Mazzaro (@acmazzaro) return for one final podcast on HBO’s amazing KO-to-the-feels drama The Leftovers.

Josh and Antonio aren’t as interested in keeping secrets and telling lies as they are in ruminating on the power of animals, birthday suits, and the makeup of a possible 2% world. Of course LOST inevitably comes up as well, but rather than dwell there, future plans not including LOST are discussed.

Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Antonio Mazzaro (@acmazzaro) went to great lengths to make sure you had this podcast about the penultimate episode of The Leftovers.

Biometrics aside, Josh and Antonio discuss how wonderfully The Leftovers does meta work, what the nuking of the International Assassin world means for the future of Kevin Garvey (or is it Harvey?), and what WE need for emotional closure from the finale.

The Leftovers Season 3 Episode 6 Feedback | Certified

    Listen to the Podcast:

When in the course of human events it becomes necessary to talk about a very difficult episode of The Leftovers again (and again), Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Antonio Mazzaro (@acmazzaro) are here. They basically live here now. This is not unusual for The Leftovers. But does “Certified” represent the darkest moments of the series? And isn’t it always darkest right before the dawn? And, most importantly, what’s with the shoes?

This feedback show, as always, is guided by YOUR feedback. To share your thoughts on future episodes, please send your questions and comments via Twitter or through our feedback form. You can also EMAIL your thoughts and questions directly to leftovers@postshowrecaps.com.

2019

I just did a leftovers rewatch for the first time since initial viewing. I had honestly forgotten what a master class every single performance was, and I discovered your podcast and you guys treated it with all of the care and respect it deserves. Even to this day I find many people that have never seen the show, and while I’m eager to promote it, it’s hard for me to articulate how vigorously special the show was/is. Especially considering the fact that my initial viewing a couple years ago came on the heels of losing my father. I actually found the rewatch to be even better somehow ( I remember antonio questioning how it would be received on a rewatch). Just want to thank you guys for taking such care and time to address this monumental show. I never watched lost or ever was drawn to it, so I never had any PLSD, I just enjoyed the whole ride so much. Even the beginning, I think even josh can look back at this point and see the magic in those episodes and what they were building to, even if the rest of the series was technically better. Thanks again guys. I also just wanted to say that the “in between” feedback episode for the finale with Rob what’s his name, I appreciated the insight, but at the same time felt almost a physical assault from the weighty, girthy, doubting that rob was throwing my direction, I couldn’t handle it haha. But the last one was exactly what I needed. Thanks again and you’ve gained another fan.

Great as ever

I watched the Leftovers six months after they concluded the podcast but still made sure to listen to these guys. I listen to a lot of post show recaps but this one, along with GoT, is probably my favorite. Great theories, humor, and breakdown of the episodes

My music never stops ,

Shows aren’t over when they end.

Great to listen to some discussion from these guys once the show is done. Smart, funny and insightful. Keep it up!
