#25 Learning how to understand your doctor

#25 Learning how to understand your doctor

On this episode we will continue to show you a different way to perceive your doctors, this time from the health information they give the patients. The doctor I invited today is Lynn Stiff, MD
Some of the most relevant points she made are:
Not all patient’s understand what the doctor says Patients should always ask for clarification when they have a doubt Patients must consult with the doctor about thier own opinios and they should be respected It is better when you tell the doctor how you take a medication, to show that are you are doing it correctly Among a ton more…. *****************************************************************

#24 Is all Female stress and anxiety related to hormones?

#24 Is all Female stress and anxiety related to hormones?

Today we are talking with the first male to be interviewed on my podcast, Dr. Ricardo Correa, endocrinologist. He has a very interesting point of view of what is the role of the patient on getting better or even cured of an ailment or disease
Some of the most relevant points she made are:
Not all it is solved with a pill. Finding the underlying cause of the problem is slower and harder to fix, but it is actually what works. Patients must take control of their health and help themselves not the doctor. Some times what everybody says, like diet and exercise, it is the best medicine. Among a ton more… *****************************************************************

#23 Taking Control of My Own Health Summit

#23 Taking Control of My Own Health Summit

The Taking Control Of My Own Health Summit is coming in June 2020! This is what I will be telling you during this episode:
We will have 25 experts, talking about different topics related to medicine, similar to what we talked about in our podcast, but a little bit more action-packed.
Your kids, your spouses, your mom and dad, your grandparents, your siblings, your aunties and uncles, your very good friends, your neighbors, everybody that you love, that really means something to you that might be going through a specific medical issue and you do not know what to do on how to help
Most of the time, we know what the problem is, but we don't know how to solve it or where to go for help or who to ask about it. So that's mainly what we're trying to do with this summit, just to give you the information and the tools that you need to get this done.
Your kids, your spouses, your mom and dad, your grandparents, your siblings, your aunties and uncles, your very good friends, your neighbors, everybody that you love, that really means something to you that might be going through a specific medical issue and you do not know what to do on how to help
I invite you to join the waiting list and wait for my email that is going to come over with all the information. And as soon as the court opens, you would get to know first.

#22 Another 13 things Good doctors wish that patients knew (Part 2)

This episode (Part 2) will show you a different way to perceive your doctors, but from a more global stand point, told by an actual physician herself! Joanne Garret.

Some of the most relevant points she made are:

    Doctors don't know everything
    They make mistakes
They refer you because they can't help you.
They need you to always tell them the truth
    Among a ton more….
