The best Legion Podcast out there
If you are a serious Legion fan, you must listen to this podcast!
Stephen and Matthew are great hosts that are literally going through every Legion issue from the Silver Age on. It’s very entertaining as they get straight to the important parts of each issue, talking about the highlights without doing a frame by frame read of the book. It’s great as it looks at the concepts explored in the comics of the 60s, 70s and 80s from the perch of 2021, so there are some real honest discussions about the content and quality of the issues.
This is real Legion
I expected to burn out on this podcast but these guys are doing a public service issue-by-issue. A super-interesting trip down memory lane.
Seriously, but not TOO seriously
Enjoyable podcast with brief moments of humor. They go through each important appearance of the Legion in order pointing out important events and allude to how it would eventually affect later issues. Some of the stories don’t hold up well, and they point that out, but in a way that respects the time and other circumstances it which it was written. And the audio quality is pretty good.
