Une Dame d’un certain âge… ,

Delighted that talented young women love Paris!

What a pleasure to hear you two, Beeta and Chrissy, discuss your mutual love for Paris and the experiences that ignited your passion. Being of “a certain age,” I have friends in my circle that love Paris and all things French. Most younger women are too busy building careers and/or families. So, thank you, Beeta and Chrissy, for reassuring us that a generation of smitten francophiles will “carry the baton” forward. My mom did not speak French, though she had studied it. She read French nursery rhymes and fairy tales to us. My French passion came to life in my first French class in 9th grade. I came home that very first day, and announced to my mother that I was “going to learn that language!” It has been my driving theme since then. We more “mature” women don’t have the tech imagination that you two have. So carry on, both of you, and keep bringing us charming content!
