Ephesians 6:10-20
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic pow-ers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." ~ Ephesians 6:12
Key Truths:
1. We are at war.
2. Our fight is NOT against people.
3. We are fighting preeminent, powerful, spiritual enemies with authority in this world.
We are fighting Satan and fallen angels.We fight human institutions with power and influence wielded by Satan.4. Our success depends on God's power NOT our own.
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might." ~ Ephesians 6:105. Our secret weapon is PRAYER
"Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints," ~ Ephesians 6:18
Application
1. How will our lives change because we ARE at war? How will your prayer life change?
2. Warriors train and fight in groups.
3. Who are you treating like the enemy? Seek reconciliation!
