Just a dad, down the pub, doing a Wordle
Can you believe that pubs used to close, for a few hours, in the middle of the afternoon? How would the kids (and dads) of today cope…
Speaking of dads, the lads give us a long-overdue dad update on today’s show (Papa Moore’s bench-making pursuits are thriving) and we also get another update from our resident steel erector. It’s good stuff!

Another million lost
What do the people who go on Love Island and Question Time have in common? That is the question Pete is answering on today’s show and the fact he doesn’t respect them is only one part of it…
Elsewhere, Luke FINALLY reads the email about motorcycle greetings and a listener tells us about an interesting meeting he had with Paul Daniels in a toilet.

Hold on to your hands
Pete started watching Stanger Things from series 4. A classic renegade move from Donaldson.
Today, we hear what it is like to play life-sized Monopoly and discuss THAT duet between Michael Ball and Captain Tom. Two things that have further damaged Luke’s faith in modern society. To top things off, Pete tells us what could be his most unbelievable story to date!

Metallica nativity
Why is everyone in Essex good at football? That was the difficult lesson Pete learned when trying to save penalties while dressed as the Queen…
Elsewhere, Luke finally shares the story of the baby born at a Metallica concert and we hear more tales about pathological small-town liars in the email section.

Saturday scallop fever
Are you ready for the ultimate Luke and Pete Show pivot?
On today’s show, we go from dissecting the deepest darkest issues of UK politics to hearing what Pete has in common with scallops faster than you can say "Boris Johnson". Elsewhere our mission to find new players in our battery database gets interrupted as we learn all about electric whistles.

Welcome to Luton
Planes are the order of the day on today’s show! We’re discussing two aviation-themed Youtube pranks that ended up with… well, pretty different results.
Elsewhere, we hear how someone with no flying experience successfully landed a plane and a listener explains how two men received two superb nicknames: Maverick and Goose.

My favorite podcast!
Found out about @luke&peteshow through @abroadinjaoan, already finished entire catalog and halfway through my second run through. I admire the broship of opposites that Luke and Pete share, a modern day The Odd Couple.
People stare at me …
Because I often laugh out loud while listening while shopping. ACast kept recommending the show because I follow Abroad In Japan, so I caved and gave it a listen, so glad I did. I’m working my way through the back catalog only two more years to get through - so maybe by summer.
Luke and Pete never fail to make me smile!
Discovered this show through Abroad in Japan and always have a blast listening to Luke and Pete. I laugh out loud almost every episode and the fact that I listen to Luke and Pete earned me some cred with a British coworker of mine.
