Mayra2024 ,

Wow!

I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew back when he was student at the University of Wisconsin and even then he had a passion for telling stories that people needed to hear. Over a decade later he is still making sure that those who need to be heard are getting a platform to tell their stories. Keep up the good work 😇

Exited for more episodes!

Wonderful start to the podcast. In a time where so many of us are still trying to socially distance, I think many of us are feeling isolated. By focusing on individual people and sharing their stories, you feel more connected to humanity and our shared experiences. The interviewing style works well; he doesn’t steer away from the difficult, distressing aspects, but his gentle, calm manner keeps it from being overwhelming to listen to.
I feel like right now it’s easy to get bogged down by CoVID related news and the onslaught of daily statistics. I’ve been looking for media that I can engage with that covers the pandemic, because I don’t want to go through this period of our history in denial, just pretending it doesn’t exist. However, stress-scrolling the news isn’t exactly good for one’s anxiety levels either.
I think this podcast is the answer. Keep up the great work!

A+

Great! Very excited to continue learning from what sounds like an incredible variety of guests. The interview style was very empathetic and humanistic, which is so important when media reporting can sometimes inadvertently make lives feel like statistics.
