Compassion - Being Us - September 24
Why the language of "compassion" instead of "missions?"
Community - Being Us - September 17
What if connection is more important than efficiency?
Reconciliation - Being Us - September 10
As Anabaptists, Reconciliation is at the centre of our faith and practice! Reconciliation is "the capacity to recognize turning points and possibilities to venture down unknown paths and create what does not yet exist." However, Reconciliation doesn't magically happen.
Jesus - Being Us - September 03

Head, Heart, & Hands - Being Whole - August 20
What could it look like to pursue a more wholesome integration between these layers of who we are in Jesus?
The Antidote to My Disillusionment
Thank you Bruxey and The Meetinghouse for showing us a better way forward. Somehow the simple faith and church life of my childhood has been highjacked by patriarchy, power and a paradigm for an “us” centered theology. I want to run in the opposite direction of these un-Jesus ways I see in the church, and this podcast gives me hope that this doesn’t mean I have to run from church forever. Thank you for speaking to the questions that are on our minds, and for doing it in such a gracious way. Thank you for pioneering a way to be the church during in our modern world.
Oasis of Truth Spoken in Love
I didn’t know how badly I needed this until I listened to Bruxy for the first time. I am a pastor of a small church in West ATL. Survivors of a vicious church split because a handful dared to ask if maybe there was a better way to understand the gospel than Southern Baptist church-as-usual. As I do not have a sending church or any mentors to help me, I seek out podcasts to help me better live and serve Christ’s Bride. Thank you, Meeting House for your faithfulness to speak even hard truth with gentleness and compassion.
Anabaptist in the Deep South
This podcast is my way to connect in an area where I’m the only “peace-churcher” in a 200 mile radius. TMH is a lifeline for my theological sanity. Much love to Bruxy and TMH.
