Terrific

I learned about this podcast from watching Bill Maher interview Megyn on his show. Wow this is an amazing podcast. The depth of the interviews is terrific with Megyn really able to dive deep because of the length of each episode. I learn from and enjoy every one. I keep thinking as I listen to these podcasts that it was the best thing for Megyn Kelly that it didn’t work out on NBC!!! Thanks for these engaging interviews! And by the way, I am liberal/vote almost always democrat.

Episode 327 was amazing!!! Thx for all your great work and terrific guests!

When the media lost the plot

I love your show and listen weekly. I have to say this last week or so of Tucker shaming has really given me cause for pause. I was at GWU in 2001 and regularly attended Crossfire with Tucker and James Carville. I went to look for old episodes and Tucker has been pretty much wiped from any connection to this show and CNN. What is going on?! And why can’t we have opposite opinions in conversation anymore?! Your show today and the recognition of the date 2014 also marks the date of the end of Crossfire. Please can we recreate the healthy exchange and debate of political Opinions?! We need to go back to where this broke and start to mend our ways.

327 Professor Haidt

Dear Megyn I found the conversation with Dr. Haidt missing very badly the roots of polarization and descent into Stupidity. Bobby Kennedy came closest in pointing out the “woke” language that started literally with Fauci … e.g., “AIDS denialism” when in fact HIV was never shown to be the cause of AIDS and his remedy AZT killed thousands of AIDS free people just because they tested “positive.” So we are required to believe something that is not objectively true because an authority figure foists it upon us with a message that objective reality traces only to them. Dr. Fauci says he is “SCIENCE.” So it is with the Federal Health agencies, Pharma and medical industries. We are served up a twisty cone of truth and lies we must consume together. Without critical thinking we lose the ability to distill objective reality … or, at least, with deliberate intent construct a coherent MODEL that explains our own observations … from the firestorm of information and disinformation offered up deliberately from these industries. For example, the CDC still tells us there are NO COVID injection deaths. It is easy to find ample evidence of a HOLOCAUST of injury and death via the alternative media, but the penetration of the public perception is very slow, having been engineered by the MSM, building on the historic goodwill and trusting nature of Americans. Polarization begins with the hostility of believers who are indignant toward those with would shatter their convenient model wherein their doctors and the FDA are reliable. Their “objective reality” is now based on lies they cannot let go of because the trusted authorities tell them so. Already objective reality is no longer data … it’s what you are told to believe. We are born with either XX or XY chromosomes. No surgery or drugs can change that. But the medical industry partners with social media to engineer perception and self image of impressionable young people who seek disfiguring surgeries with lifelong complications never anticipated and pollution of their bodies with drugs that will never deliver the happiness and fulfillment they thought would find. The truth is what you choose to believe, not the facts in front of us. Until reality catches up. I’m going on too long. But please consider that gov’t and industry for the sake of control and wealth capture attempt to replace data that sovereign individuals can evaluate by means of critical thinking, with, instead, a manipulated version of reality that is convenient to believe. So convenient it doesn’t matter how STUPID. That means you believe it despite the obvious contradictions that you are instructed to ignore. Along with that comes hatred of those who question it. Like those who skip the COVID shots (like me). There IS rigorous science. There IS integrity. There is objectivity. Conceding false arguments just to be “friends” does not get us anywhere. The solution is the restoration of free speech and SOCRATIC debate in the public square … that is, the mainstream media. Or may the existing MSM wither away to be replaced by better, alternative platforms. When the debate centers on gray areas, we are all entitled to an opinion. When that opinion entails significant social cost and/or ethical questions, then the solution is to the leave the Federal gov’t out of it. The individuals must pay their own way. The intractable polarization traces back to the Federal Heath agencies, medical and Pharma industries. Why are girls bad in math? Cuz they are told “this ———-“ is six inches. A crude but illustrative metaphor.
