Give it a chance

I’m interested to see where this show will go. Yes, the voice acting is a bit over the top, that’s the point. It reminds me of a lot of the B-Movie horror hosts that keep it very tongue in cheek and don’t take themselves too seriously. The topics are interesting and I think they’ll get it polished up just fine with time. The fake commercial spots are obnoxious, though. Been through several pods that do this and they always end up getting rid of them. Please follow suit. 4/5 with potential to grow.

I’m loving this podcast!

After reading the negative reviews of the voice acting, I began to re-evaluate my idea that this podcast was well-constructed, considering and coordinating all the style factors that make up a cohesive program
Nope! After pondering this question, I have come to the conclusion that the style, including the voice, makes up the total enjoyable package. Imagine an episode read with a South Brooklyn accent, or a Kentucky hillbilly drawl. (Sorry, New Yorkers and fellow Kentuckians!) I don’t think that would be as effective.
IN my opinion, the factors that make up this show present a cohesive, well thought out podcast.

Wanted to love of it but it’s a swing and a miss

I love Astonishing Legends but really can’t tolerate the distracting and bad voice acting. I wanted to like it. I really really did, But I just can’t listen anymore.
