Episode 1-Marrakech
Where Tom learns the art of haggling amid the bustling markets of Marrakech.
"Greetings landlubbers, Tom Bobbajobski here regaling you with tales from my time in the Merchant
Navy on the HMS Crumpet transporting cargo acros the globe. Yes! Before being plucked from obscurity by Huron City Radio, and then fading back into it once again, I travelled the world.
And you know there was a time when I was in Marrakesh, back in eighty eight. I was working a ship that was transporting tripe from the North of England to specialist restaurants in Cape Town. We had docked for a couple of days in Casablanca so I made the trip inland to Marrakesh..."

🌲🕯The Midnite (Half-)Hour🌛
This fictitious late-night radio program is like audio manna from Heaven to those who’d rather live in a satirical version of the world we now find ourselves in. While Tom, the host, resembles fictional radio host Alan Partridge more than a little bit, we can relate to Tom MORE, I think - although this might be more to do with the world of the 2020’s, and Partridge is purely from the 1990’s. But at any rate, regardless, the Midnite (sic) Half Hour Podcast is a whole lot of fun to listen to, especially late at night when you can pretend it’s real ~!!
New Obsession
My boyfriend and I binged this show on a road trip recently and are obsessed. We quote it constantly to each other on the daily! It’s the perfect mix of satire and drama. The humor is dry, effortless, and just…*chefs kiss*. We love Tom Bobbajobski!!!!
Great fun
I found this show and it was just the type of absurd nonsense I needed to hear. The musical guests are great, the host of the show is a total pro, and I don’t where in the world they get their callers. It’s good fun and worth a listen, especially the radio drama showcased in the episode- I look forward to the next episode!
