FATHERHOOD FRIDAY | Kids Spell LOVE ... TIME

FATHERHOOD FRIDAY | Kids Spell LOVE ... TIME

Today I talked about the core idea of this podcast, its mentioned in almost every interview because it's that important.

As we work to make our life a dad integrated life, remember that your kids don't understand why dad has to work.

When you think about how you can show up for your kids with a gift of TIME each day, you can anchor yourself in a positive way as the day gets going and hopefully, you can end feeling like you had a good day, even if normal has been canceled.

April is National Alcohol Responsibility Month in the United States and today we get to talk to the Executive Director of Responsibility.org. Responsible drinking is something that is a dark area of American culture and a lot of it not talked about in the world of parenting or being an adult.

We touch on a big idea here in this episode about being responsible for your own life and the choices you make and don't make have a direct correlation to the success you experience in life.

Great for vets, great for all

Inspiring podcast for military fathers, but all could benefit!

So inspiring

I introduced my husband, who’s a army veteran, to this podcast after listening to episode 34 with Sarah Roberts. At the time my husband was struggling with thoughts like “you guys would be better off without me”. We listen to the episode 34 together and both were extremely touched by Sarah’s story. My husband now listens to this podcast on the regular and he has been more connected to our life, our kids and me ever since. The podcast with the combination of more open communication between us and therapy at the VA has opened him up to become a better father to our 2 sons and a better partner to me. Keep up the good work. We love your podcast! Thank you for your service!

An important topic

Hearing about the experiences of Dad’s. The emotions, the thinking behind what they do to take care of their families, the struggles and more. And Ben is the perfect person to explore these emotions and talk to Dads about them.

It is such an interesting perspective to hear and is something I hadn’t thought about before listening.

Thanks for what you are doing.
