007: Top 5 Weight Loss Tips I Learned From My Clients in 2021 The Millennial Nutritionist

As a Registered Dietitian, I’ve read tons of research on what’s effective for weight loss. This year I helped over 70 clients lose weight through my private practice, and I noticed some patterns on which clients had the most success with weight loss this year. In this episode, I’m sharing five of those findings with you guys to help you in your own weight loss journey!

Some key tips shared in this episode:


Your Registered Dietitian is on this journey with you. They are doing the research for you on what will work best for your body to help you create a weight loss plan that’s tailored to your needs.
My most successful clients started the program with a consistent exercise routine in place before we started, or they started implementing an exercise routine at the beginning of the program. This could be because once we addressed issues like overeating, they started seeing better results from exercise, or that making the healthy choice to exercise led to healthier choices with food.
My clients that planned out their week to support their weight loss goals (i.e. having healthy snacks and meals on hand, scheduling exercise, etc.) saw more weight loss than those that didn’t.
