Love this podcast!

I'm always really excited to see that a new episode is out! Curtis does such a wonderful job of weaving a narrative line through these fascinating and wonderful interviews. I have recommended this podcast to several of my students and they have all had glowing praise after they listened (the Invention of the West episode in particular was a big hit with a student who had just returned from Turkey and was thinking through a lot of those same issues). The production value is high and the quality of ideas -- from the host and guests -- is really top notch. So glad this exists!!

Great new podcast!

This podcast may be about antiquity but it is always relevant to right now. The long view of history as it relates to our current world is fascinating. I've loved all the episodes I've listened to but especially The Lost World.

Episode 5 amazing

Thank you so much for doing episode 5. It’s been a tough year - thank you for shedding light in these awful political times. This is exactly how history and humanism can matter in the now! Thank you!
