The Greatest NBA Players Ever From Iowa

While it might be a little different than Sunset Park and Hoosiers, Iowa certainly has more than a few white men that can jump coming out of Iowa hoops. This week Moonlighter Jack Brownlee returns to the studio to help Tim come up with the all-time Iowa NBA team. Some of the greats, like Kyle Korver, Fred Hoiberg and Nick Collison, quickly come to mind but the research required some deeper dives.

The Greatest Football Players Ever from Iowa

Tim Flattery has his finger on the pulse of Iowa sports fans

I'm biased, but I'm pretty sure this type of podcast is completely unique. Nobody else is telling the stories of the has-beens, the forgotten heroes, and the inspiring people worth highlighting in iowa sports. Favorite episodes include Gable (and I'm NOT a Hawk), Nick Collison, and anything with trusty sidekick Tom Griffin.

Great pod!

Love the podcast and the variety of guests and topics. I especially enjoyed the “Things We Hate About Sports” episode. I almost had to pull the car over laughing at the “Straightening it out Tim!” and “Great hustle” comments!
