With a brand new Marvel Studios installment in theaters this weekend, the MovieFilm boys decided to continue our periodic journeys through the MCU's past by talking through THOR: THE DARK WORLD. The Chris Hemsworth sequel was released 10 years ago this week, and while its reputation has always been pretty "meh," we dive in to see whether it's worthy of the hisses or if it's entirely warranted.

A delight

Is it like listening to your friends? Like every other podcast review? Sure. But they're still great, and I still stop whatever I'm doing when a new episode drops. And hey, send them an email. They'll probably respond. The pod is charming and worth your time.

Like talking with two old friends

I know I’m not the first to mention Zaki and Brian’s great chemistry but if that many people bring it up, it’s obviously one of the show’s biggest strengths. Their natural bond formed by years of friendship creates an energy that is genuine in every episode unlike the forced dialogue you get in some major network talk and radio shows. They create an environment that you yourself feel like you’ve known them for years and want to join in the discussion. Their commentaries are second to none with entertaining tidbits and rarely and long stretches of silence from getting caught up in watching the film. The only thing more thrilling is receiving an accidental Zaki butt dial
