A delight
Is it like listening to your friends? Like every other podcast review? Sure. But they're still great, and I still stop whatever I'm doing when a new episode drops. And hey, send them an email. They'll probably respond. The pod is charming and worth your time.
Like talking with two old friends
I know I’m not the first to mention Zaki and Brian’s great chemistry but if that many people bring it up, it’s obviously one of the show’s biggest strengths. Their natural bond formed by years of friendship creates an energy that is genuine in every episode unlike the forced dialogue you get in some major network talk and radio shows. They create an environment that you yourself feel like you’ve known them for years and want to join in the discussion. Their commentaries are second to none with entertaining tidbits and rarely and long stretches of silence from getting caught up in watching the film. The only thing more thrilling is receiving an accidental Zaki butt dial
Great Chemistry
This is my most listened to podcast. Zaki and Bryan have a real friendship that comes through clearly on the show, and it’s awesome to listen to. I find that with their movie commentaries they do research and have great insights to provide. Also good to know, these guys are cut from an 80s and 90s cloth. So if you’re like me and were born sometime in the 80s then you’ll probably relate to a lot of their personal tastes!
