Pretty good interview, but poorly produced.
If you’re a Rush fan the interview has some interesting content.
That said, it was taped at a restaurant as Chad and Alex ate dinner, and the sharp clinking of silverware and glasses is tough to sit through at times. The interview is less structured as such and more like eavesdropping on a private conversation between musicians. Their talk about their shared love of golf is pretty uninteresting, but there are some good moments here.
Better production would have made this much nicer to listen to.
Chad’s voice is much louder than Alex’s, so one wants to turn the volume up which only accentuates the horrible dinner noises.
Chad is clearly a smoker, and clears his throat periodically, also distracting and at times bordering on gross.
I listened to all four segments, approximately 30 minutes each.
For the diehard Rush fan, worth a listen, but casual fans can skip this one.
