Time to go back in time and do something interesting...
Take, for instance, the French fire of 1194 that conveniently destroyed part of that one cathedral. I heard it was ugly. I’m not quite sure why you wanted to go back to stop that fire. There are a lot of other more interesting things you could have done.
One interesting thing you could do, if you could time travel, which of course you can’t, at least not with current time and space exploration technology, is see the Mustache Rangers perform live at HUGE Improve theater. You would likely enjoy every second of their show. Heck, my wife spewed her drink all over the girl in front of her during the show. That’s how funny these guys are. Their podcast is no different.
Of course, it’s certainly not the thing I would do if I was time traveling, but you may want options for things you can do when time travel is invented that won’t end in you not being born.
If you are looking for something that would end in you never being born, just send your mom a copy of Nickelback’s album from your father, 1 week after they meet. And no, it doesn’t matter which album. The odds are stacked heavily in your favor (1 in 1.1 chance) that you will successfully not be born.

This show is funny. It makes me chuckle to myself in the car. People think I'm crazypants for laughing while I'm driving, but it's just the adventures I'm hearing. Laugh laugh laugh. It's all made up.
