    A Wanderer with a Purpose

How does one find the courage to pursue one's dreams, to leave the comforts of home for a new, foreign place, to give it your all and surrender to passion?

I’m pleased to go down memory lane and reconnect with a high school friend from Hawaii, Viet Vo. I reached out to Viet for an interview because he left Hawaii for NYC to pursue acting.

Viet has been living in NYC for 14 years and has been in TV productions, theater shows, and commercials.

In this naked conversation, he talks about the chain of three events that pushed him to take a leap of faith and move to NYC. He shares what it was like landing his dream role after his sixth attempt in the theater production, Vietgone, and reveals what it is like being an Asian-American actor.

Viet joins us from New York City
