    16 - Hamilton...LIVE

We're back for a new, semiannual episode of the Narrative Imperative! In this episode, Laura and Jared are covering the rousing, revolutionary musical, Hamilton! We'll discuss the soundtrack vs the live show, introduce some new segments, and talk about some of our favorite songs from musicals. Do not throw away your shot to listen!

A note from Laura: Towards the end of the episode while talking about the musical Rent, I briefly refer to the character of Maureen as a lesbian. This is incorrect -- Maureen is bisexual. It may seem like a small issue, but it's actually an important one. Bisexual erasure in media and popular culture is both very common and very damaging to bisexual people, and it's not something I wish to contribute to. Queer representation of all kinds is something that's very important to me, and I apologise for misspeaking in this episode.

13 - Star Wars Episode VI - Return of the Jedi

Hot takes alert! In our episode about Return of the Jedi, Laura and Jared get controversial; Yoda is a bad mentor, Ghost Hayden Christiansen is one of the best edits George Lucas made to the original trilogy, the new Ewok song is far better than the Yub-Yub song, and Bobba Fett still sucks. We also discuss themes of destiny, redemption, and why the hell did they stop writing funny lines for Carrie Fisher?

12 - Hedwig and the Angry Inch

In this week's episode, Laura and Jared switch things up by reviewing a Broadway musical, Hedwig and the Angry Inch. This glam rock musical is ripe with themes of self-identity, power, and the search for completion, as well as a pretty kick ass soundtrack! So get over your disappointment that this musical isn't about Harry Potter's owl eating a fiery worm and give this incredible musical, and our discussion of it, a listen!

11 - Robin Hood Prince of Thieves Trivia

In our most meaningful episode yet we take time to share some quotes from stories that have made an impact on the way we see the world, we share four (4!!) pieces of fan mail, and Laura beats Jared at trivia again. Sorry for spoiling that but at this point you should be expecting it.

Next time we will be discussing the musical 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch', which apparently has nothing to do with Harry Potter! Check it out on YouTube now so you can be caught up for our episode! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x31XrfiikwQ&feature=youtu.be

Definitely the best podcast very underrated. You should go on YouTube type in Squadkickstv and watch the snowboarding video. Mr.Jacobs is a legend in the teaching community and Laura your jokes are pretty great but your brother is pretty dry recently so u might want to give him some more to tell us-griff
