One Podcast To Rule Them All
I’m such a fan of the YouTube channel and was delighted to find the companion podcast. It does not disappoint.
Informative. Related to the world of Tolkien
Excellent production. Well thought out. Enjoyable and fun. Something for everyone.
Rings of Power Pandering
Listened to the more recent episodes after taking a break to listen to other LOTR lore-casts. This pod was one of my favorites but after the Maxim Baldry and Lloyd Owens episode, I can see their obsession of the characters in the stitched together in script, instead of learning Tolkien’s character. No true, versed Tolkien fan enjoyed Rings of Power with the mind to see these stories played out and was extremely frustrating to see. On top of this I just see Amazon trying to pander to LOTR fans who listen with the intent to learn more about Tolkien by getting on this cast, but all I heard personally was “me me me me” from Maxim.
