A Deep Insight into Up and Coming Filmmakers
Working in the film industry means taking a lot of meetings over coffee, speaking with professionals about how they got started, and hoping to glean an insight into the industry. More often then not, when the question of how to get your foot in the door comes up, the answer I’d get was, “everyone’s path is different”—which wasn’t always helpful.
What I love about the New Deal Podcast is that the filmmakers open up about their personal anxieties and dreams. Their thoughtful answers and fresh perspectives get me excited about being a young professional in the industry.
It’s also funny.
