A hockey podcast realized by former players, tailored for the players of the past and present...We created The Next Shift to uncover the untold stories of retired players and ultimately celebrate those who have conquered the unknown territory of life after hockey in their new arenas of work as innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders. We aim to bring on guests that share a common denominator in that the lessons they learned and the adversity they faced within the game molded their character as people which enabled them to reach their life goals and dreams. At some point, the game must end for us all, but the "Next Shift" mindset, that, you carry for a lifetime.

Fired up! 🔥🔥

As a former college athlete this hits home. Hanging up my cleats was a weird time… Something i poured so much effort into was suddenly gone and I was having a hard time realizing who I was without sports. Listening to George and the guests he brings on I’ve realized there’s a ton of attributes I can bring to my work life. The competitiveness, resilience, and ownership we all acquire directly translate to a successful career in sales. Keep it coming boys! Love it!!
