Renewed Even When it Doesn't Make Sense with Clint Zeller - Renew The Mind Series
In this episode, I have the honor of speaking with Clint Zeller; the former pastor of Grace Life Church in Magnolia, Texas.
In July of 2023, Clint and his wife, Laura, made the decision that might have seemed puzzling to some, perhaps even disheartening. They made the difficult choice to close the doors of their church a place where the community gathered, worshiped, and served.
"Why would they do this?" Some may ask. Was it a lack of faith, a failure, or a defeat? Not at all. It was a decision made in obedience to what they believe God was calling them to do. It was a challenging and prayerful process—one that involved seeking wisdom and discernment in every step.
Closing the doors of Grace Life was not about giving up or walking away. It was about embracing the unknown, about trusting in a higher plan that is beyond our human understanding. It was about being open to the next chapter, whatever that might be.

Knowing When to Walk Away with Andrea Robinson - Renew Your Mind
Returning to The Nook for a second time is my friend, Andrea Robinson. If by chance you are in or from the Phoenix, AZ area, you are probably familiar with Andrea as she spent 14 years as one of morning anchors at FOX10.
In this episode, we take a deeper dive into her experience as a very driven, career-minded woman who "wanted it all"...and she got it. Success, notoriety, and opportunities to rub shoulders with famous people. But shortly after her mother passed away, she began to wonder if a brief life of earthly achievements was all there was to this.
Core verse for this series:
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
