Great Introduction to Mutant: Year Zero

I've been getting into Free League's RPGs recently and I wanted to check out an actual play of Mutant: Year Zero. I found the Notorious RPG show and decided to give it a go. This show comes strong right out of the gate! Great descriptive work by the GM, fun character personalities, and a good cooperative vibe between the whole cast. My only small issue is that the PC who's new to RPGs tends to take over other people's characters during some scene-building and dictate their actions to their actual player, but no one at the table seems to mind so maybe that's just a difference in playstyle.

Even with that one minor complaint, I still think the show is great. I've blown through half of the episodes this week and now I'm sweating what I'll do when I get current. Give them a listen!

Fun show if you're a nerd

I've always wanted to play a tabletop roleplaying game, but don't have the time or network so this podcast is a lot of fun because they're not overly complicated and they play with a newb that I can relate to. Give it a watch if you're a nerd.

Post Apocalyptic Fun

Found the show at random and very glad that I did. Actual plays vary a great deal in content and quality, so it is important to shine a light on the ones that get it right. Good balance between humor and story with great post production. Liked it enough to make some fan art of Lefty and intend to do more. Only gripe is out of character asides and such can be a bit much, while overall entertaining they could be trimmed down a bit. Hope you keep exploring the wasteland and sharing the stories.
