Kingdom of Ash
Just the comment on the one star, one of the two of us did read all the books and the only one that wasn’t read was .5-Tower of Dawn. That one starer probably didn’t listen to the whole thing because this was a rave review and not our normal ranty one.
Iron Widow
The opening of calling themselves stupid Americans was a perfect start. The laughing at the names made me tilt my head. The lack of knowing that Zetian did have access to a tablet because she spent all the time in the woods with Yizuri on his tablet. Then the “why are you so bitter towards men” comment made me pause the show. Surely they read about the feet mutilation and girls being sacrificed along with her sister. But I felt maybe I was being too harsh. So I started again. But the comments about Chinese culture and history saying that’s too confusing and too much? The way one of the speakers talk like a high school cheerleader from middle America I’m not surprised about the sinophobia
