An intriguing podcast

For those who are still watching the season of Watchmen, I’d recommend listening to the podcast before completing the season since it brings up good theories and critical thinking questions that we ask ourselves while watching the series.

A must-watch

I also just watched all nine episodes, post-George Floyd America (thanks HBO for making it available for free this weekend). So glad I did! The show was thrilling in its own right, but is lifted by the wave of voices around the world, demanding equality and justice. And now I get to enjoy the podcast, spoiler-free.

BLM

Finally watched the series and was completely blown away. A masterpiece. I immediately began listening to this podcast. What I find especially interesting is that the interview took place shortly after the series ended and well before the murder of George Floyd and, of course, before the massive protests happening around the globe. I find it incredibly ironic that because of a worldwide pandemic, most everyone marching in the protests, are wearing masks. The orange villain in the White House refuses to wear a mask. I’m hope beyond hope that this powerful movement is an “airing out” of the despicable wound of racism that has been perpetrated for 400 years.
