Go listen, y’all!

Guys, you have to listen to this podcast! Listening has made me think more than ever about how I carry myself and what my ultimate purpose in life is. I’ve always been a servant leader of sorts, but Joe’s podcast really makes me want to step out of my comfort zone, learn something new, and make myself and the young women I love and serve every day better.

I stumbled across the 1% better podcast when I listened to an ABCA (baseball association) podcast, and Joe was the guest speaker. I related to him because he had a similar background as me - getting into college coaching at a very young age unexpectedly.

Since then, I have binged most of the episodes (still have some more to go), and I just cannot get over how much I learn from him and the guests he blesses us with. I listen on my commute to and from work, and I’ve even started listening while working out, and not one time have I not wanted to finish the podcast because I wasn’t getting something out of it.

You won’t regret tuning in!

Thank you Joe!

Love the author interviews!

I’ve binged through all of the
Podcast so far and love it when Joe shows his talent of educating others while interviewing the authors. I’ve not read many of the books that are being talked about, and Joe gets the author to share their personalities and some of the main things you can learn from the book. I love how the points are related to the theme of one percent better. I’ve ‘listened’ to some of the books and added others to my future reading list. Many of which I would never would have even considered without this podcast. Joe is always prepared and you can tell his guests appreciate that he brings out all of their work in his questions. They seem surprised that he knows so much about them. I also have taken away some personal things to make life 1% better. I’ve started writing hand written notes when I’ve seen superb service. I realize this isn’t hand written, but I’m counting this as one of my hand written notes. I decided to write this after listening to the Talk Triggers episode and how Joe wasn’t sure what his talk trigger is. I know I spread the word whenever I learn something new on your podcast, to whoever I think it might relate to in my life. I’m not sure I’ve generated any traffic for you, but keep it up and so will I. I bet at some point an author will know they ‘made it’ if Joe is calling to do an interview. Thanks Joe!
