Show: 5 Stars - New Narrator: 2 Stars

The new woman telling these stories has a pleasing voice, is well spoken but her delivery is painful at times, specifically in the Three Body Problem episode. The overly drawn out pauses, egregiously slow delivery of certain words, to I assume enhance the dramatic effect made this episode tough to listen to.

This show Is great, I am a huge fan. I’ve listened to every episode and have signed up for the paid memberships, it may be my favorite podcast to date.

This feedback, though critical is constructive in nature because I think the show has been so great. The simplest way to put it is that in listening to this latest episode, I felt like my overly dramatic teenage sister is telling me a story, drawing eeevvvvery……thing out for no reason and overall lacking maturity in her storytelling. To be specific, the part of the story where she is describing the “animal testing center” contains seconds of silence between words in the same sentence and words that take milliseconds to be pronounced properly being drawn out over multiple seconds for no reason. Clear and detailed story-telling, delivered in a mature manner is what has made this show great for years. Here’s to hoping the fan base doesn’t lose that. That said, I’m still a fan. Keep up the great work.

From Great to Terrible

I can’t believe Hannah is gone. The podcast is totally unlistenable now. I hope Hannah starts something new. I’ll be following her for sure!

I can’t with the new host

I tried listening to the latest episode, but with this new host, I couldn’t get through it. I’ve listened to every episode of every season. I’d this is a permanent change, I’ll have to unfollow the show and i hate that.
