Episode 36 | The Essence of Gratitude

Episode 36 | The Essence of Gratitude

Whitney is extraordinarily excited to introduce her listeners to her incredible friend, Jennifer Rogers. Jennifer is the first guest to sit with Whitney for an interview on the Original Female Entrepreneur podcast. Jennifer is a functional medicine coach who is powerful, bold and the epitome of a Proverbs 31 woman.

Whitney is closing this chapter of the gratitude series with a valuable chat on not only bringing gratitude and functional medicine together but by Jennifer helping listeners understand the power behind adopting a gratitude practice.

Jennifer shares her own stories and experiences with the importance of taking control, knowing your identity, and the power you hold because you are the daughter of Christ. Gratitude isn’t merely saying thank you for the life the Lord has given you; instead, it’s the posture to understand that despite the hardships life serves us, we can still stay grateful by partnering with the Holy Spirit.

Episode 35 | Grief and Gratitude

Expressing gratitude in the midst of grief can feel unimaginable. Can grief and gratitude simultaneously move together? Gratitude isn’t only about uplifting and expressing thanks. It’s a tool to help us process the emotions associated with trauma.

Today’s episode is the third of the four episodes honing in on the different components of gratitude. Whitney walks listeners through a personal story of grief and how it can keep us from experiencing gratitude at a deep level.

While Whitney isn’t here to deliver all of the answers, she is here to remind listeners that God is sovereign and that worshiping and choosing to believe God is good despite trauma and grief can help us maintain an internal perspective.

Episode 34 | Entitlement and Gratitude

Episode 34 | Entitlement and Gratitude

Expressing gratitude towards the things we have now is often blindsided by the thought of more. Maybe you believe you deserve more or strive for perfection. Whitney shares her experience with three ways that entitlement shows up in her life.

Today’s episode is the second of the four episodes honing in on the different components of gratitude. Whitney brings listeners into authentic moments where your entitlement can hinder gratitude. She encourages listeners to shed light on being thankful for the gifts, blessings, and love God provides us in the moments.

Becoming a humble spirit and giving back is the ultimate form of gratitude. Entitlement keeps us in a place of wanting before appreciating. Once we’ve established our desired results, then we express gratitude. Instead, Whitney helps listeners discover how gratitude is the antidote to entitlement.

Standing Ovation!!! Episode 5 : Hard Conversations

Whitney brings a professional, wise, to-the-point, yet compassionate approach with 5 strategic steps to take to achieve a healthy outcome when faced with having hard conversations that often times leaves us in a state of dread, overwhelm and anxiety.

I love how scripture is weaved throughout her message in a way that holds our feet to the fire to do the hard yet necessary things that help us live our best life, honoring both ourselves and others. She also incorporates scripture to edify our value, mission, self-worth and compassion for others.

Hard conversations CAN be had without a trauma response waiting on the other side.
