The Pasture and The Holy Lands: The Outdoors Show

The Pasture and The Holy Lands: The Outdoors Show

Cliff Webb: Birds circling, shrimp poppin, and pelicans everywhere, schools of pencils and 18-21's, flounder aren't taking off like they are up north, water is off-color in Baffin right now, only about a foot of clarity, dead slow like a milk pond, a big buck on the sea shore, deer camp stories and the pasture and holy lands, north west south east, shine your spotlight up in the air and we'll find out.

Will Kirkpatrick: We've had a great week, weather has been good, had a nice size buck run across our driveway, tough time to decide what you want to do, the lake is super clear, haven't had any run off, one day we'll turn up and they'll blow up on top waters, 17 boats in five fingers one day.

Harry Detane: A few inches below normal pool, the water in the creek is watermelon creek, traffic on the lake is very slow, everyone is off deer hunting.

Low Tide Margaritas: The Outdoors Show

Low Tide Margaritas: The Outdoors Show

Mike Jeffcoat: Fish is good before the tide change around 10:30-11AM, massive deer killed in Trinity County, East Texas is rolling stuff out, deer stepping out of a tree about 49 yards out, better to be lucky than good, water clarity slowly cleaning up, nearly 3 footers hitting us yesterday afternoon, live bait guys are leaving in the dark, got them a corner and secret hole, when the low tide hits you better go drink margaritas.

James Plaag: Why can't we pull a nice east wind in the summer, yesterday was a grind, tide and currents making things more difficult, sometimes the fish don't want the bait moving too fast, drains are shell is the pattern right now, not cold enough to put them in the mud, there are places that have big ones but they aren't where I'm fishing, aren't too many people fishing right now, can't blame em',

Michael Marquez: The sweet Lord above came down and flipped the flounder switch on, caught 40 yesterday, and one over 6 pounds, not sure why the switch happened, flounder must've been primed and ready to move, throwing mantis shrimp and anything pearl white and chartreuse, started throwing into the current at a different angle and they went off, you can never try too many methods on your reel retrieval, every inlet and shoreline is flooded with people, Out Cast Charters flounder tournament is currently going on,

Flounder > Work: The Outdoors Show

Flounder > Work: The Outdoors Show

Bill Watkins: Got a doe and went back home, then went fishing yesterday, killed a big boar hog the weighed nearly 250, caught four flounder yesterday and pretty stout ones, have had several in the 4-4.5 pound range, the flounder fanatics are chomping at the bit, folks will quit their job for the flounder run, being at the market where fish and shrimp are, shrimp population isn't the same as it once was.

Richard Tatsch: Hunting that big rascal for over four years, fish on Conroe are still going crazy, got three really nice hybrids on Wednesday, and a strong limit of Hybrids on Thursday, along with 31 catfish with good size, looking like a giant spider out on the water with 8 rods out with fish on, zero to wide open, bass fighting similar to redfish, bad weather days on Conroe haven't been too bad.

Charlie Paradowski: Rested up and feeling good, fishing has been pretty good all week, tuesday was good since no one was out there, just big sand trout, how will deer hunting go this season in south texas, when will a good cold front hit, been too warm and crazy this time of the year.

Fishy

There’s something fishy about this show. The locations where the fish are biting are not correct. Trinity will never be fishable Harvey killed it and the rest of the bay. Everyone go to Matagorda .
