My favorite bat comics podcast

This retrospective of overlooked highlights of the Bat canon is my favorite Batman comics podcast. It’s thoroughly researched and well produced and presented by 2 incredibly knowledgeable hosts. I learn something new on every listen and really appreciate that. If you’re looking to dig deep on some of the best Bat books ever published listen in.

Satisfies All My Nostalgia Cravings

I was not around during the period most of these books cover, but this period of Batman is my Batman. Growing up on second hands, my views of Batman tend to not match those of my contemporaries, and I’ve had difficulty talking to peers who’s views on Batman are mostly post-Crisis, and the hosts dictate in such a way, that’s it’s almost like you are part of a conversation, so this show is a awesome break from the grim Dark Knight. It’s great to hear breakdowns from hosts that not only have a love for Batman as a whole, but can give insight into this period of Batman’s publishing history with first hand accounts. This is one of, if not the best comic podcasts out there.

A love of comics

I’ve been listening for a year or so and I wanted to thank you both for your very entertaining conversations about these Batman books. The non linear for mat is great with a quick recap you can tell what going on in any given book. I know that nobody is getting rich doing the podcast , so a true love for comics is needed.
I find the your take on each book the highs, the lows and all that falls in between to be humorous , insightful. Your conversations feel as if I was talking to friends about books. That’s one of the things that I miss is going weekly to the comic shop and throughout the week talking to friends about and getting into great conversations about things. Being older and a non regular comic buyer I don’t have that particular connection any longer but with great podcasts such as yours I do feel it’s there again. Thank you again for your work I do love listening.
