A love of comics

I’ve been listening for a year or so and I wanted to thank you both for your very entertaining conversations about these Batman books. The non linear for mat is great with a quick recap you can tell what going on in any given book. I know that nobody is getting rich doing the podcast , so a true love for comics is needed.
I find the your take on each book the highs, the lows and all that falls in between to be humorous , insightful. Your conversations feel as if I was talking to friends about books. That’s one of the things that I miss is going weekly to the comic shop and throughout the week talking to friends about and getting into great conversations about things. Being older and a non regular comic buyer I don’t have that particular connection any longer but with great podcasts such as yours I do feel it’s there again. Thank you again for your work I do love listening.

Huh, it was better in before

I listened to almost all the episodes this week at work so I thought I might as well leave a review. Mike and Andy talk us on a journey to the past, where I wish I could have experienced cuz the “back in my day” think seems to be true with Batman. Mike and Andy always seem to have fun without dwelling to much on the negatives but at the same time they don’t ignore them. Thanks for taking me on a great journey while always telling me of some books to read that I may have missed by simply being born in December of 1990.

A Treat for the Sane Batman Fanatic

This podcast isn't for everyone—you need a special attachment to the whole sweep of Batman history to appreciate this period in the Dark Knight's past—but if you are such a person (as both the hosts and I definitively are), it makes for a solidly enjoyable listen. The hosts have an approachable and easy chemistry, and their refusal to excuse the more bizarre and flat-out bad aspects of these stories grounds the podcast in the real world. Fun stuff.
